Abstract
There are many opinions from scientists why a company conducts CSR activities. Nevertheless, the essence of such understanding does not refer to business activities that are governed by the prevailing laws and regulations but rather on the commitment of corporate voluntarism so that it is selected and implemented in its business practices. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has now become a reflection of social development in a democratic society, so Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a companys effort to help the government improving economic and social growth with a balanced approach so that it can become a company tool to achieve prosperity for the whole society. The purpose of this study was to determine the motives of implementing CSR and the communication model that was carried out during the implementation of CSR in commercial companies in Indonesia and Malaysia.
